El sargento de guardia del penal detectó la presunta droga, dentro de una cajetilla de cigarrillos, que iba en una funda con mentas y ciclets, dirigida al interno José Arcadio Rodríguez, quien cumple medida de coerción.
En cuanto al detenido, Bernardo Santos Rojas, residente en el sector Buenos Aires, de Esperanza, será enviado, junto al vegetal incautado, a la Dirección Nacional de Control de Drogas (DNCD) para los fines procedentes.
